Esther Rodrigo

Senior Physiotherapist
BSc (Hons) M.C.S.P.


Esther Esther graduated from the European University of Madrid in 2000. Since relocating to London in 2007, she has enjoyed time in both the NHS and private sectors. She has extensive experience in musculoskeletal and rehabilitation and and has also a strong background of rheumatic and chronic conditions.

 

Her interest in posturaly related injuries lead Esther to concider the whole body during diagnosis. Incorporating, if necessary, the use of craneosacral and visceral tecniques. Due to an extensive portfolio of postgraduate courses, Esther utilizes a wide range of therapies.

 

In addition Esther has been a lecturer in Anatomy, Physiology and Manual Lymphodrainage, as well as being invited in 2008 by the Spanish Association against Cancer to give a conference abount the lymphoedema in postmastectomy patients.




Lauren Matthews

Senior Physiotherapist

LaurenLauren gained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement in 2004 and then continued her studies to graduate from the University of Sydney in 2006 with a Masters in Physiotherapy.

 

After graduating Lauren went straight into private practice at a prestigious Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy Clinic in Australia. Here she gained a lot of valuable experience treating a wide variety of spinal musculoskeletal and post-operative conditions as well as providing hydrotherapy at a local pool. During this time she also acted as the Physiotherapist for a local football team and was involved in treating injuries both on and off the pitch.

 

Lauren studied with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and is a qualified Pilates teacher.

Lauren likes to combine her manual therapy with exercise based therapies to provide an all round approach to treating her patients.

Cristina is a qualified Alexander Technique teacher who has experience with both individuals and groups from all walks of life.

 

 

She specialises in one-to-one sessions with clients in Central London. She also delivers group courses for people of all ages




Olivia Dowd

Podiatrist and Chiropodist


Olivia Olivia Dowd studied Podiatric Medicine at Southampton University, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in 2002.  She has worked privately and within the NHS for 7 years. 

Olivia works in an acute hospital based diabetes centre as well as variety of community podiatry clinics enabling her to gain valuable experience and knowledge in treating a wide range of foot pathologies. Olivia has a specialist interested in treating musculoskeletal/ biomechanical problems, ingrown toenails, routine chiropody, diabetic foot care, wound care and verrucae.

Olivia regularly attends conferences and training days to keep her knowledge updated.



Denzil Trebilcock

Podiatrist and Chiropodist

 

Denzil TrebilcockDenzil studied Podiatric Medicine at the London Foot Hospital, University College London, graduating with a BSc. (Hons) in 2004.

 

After graduating he worked for the NHS in Lambeth PCT for 5 years, where he was able to gain all round clinical experience in a diagnosing and treating a variety of foot pathologies.

 

Denzil worked within a high risk Diabetic Centres both at King’s College Hospital and St Thomas’ treating critical care patients. In the last 2 years Denzil became the Lambeth PCT department lead for the Musculoskeletal Foot and Ankle centre.

 

Denzil has developed a keen interest in sports related foot problems and injuries.He has worked in Harley Street for several years treating complex problems for a wide range of athletic disciplines.  However, he also enjoys all clinical aspects of Podiatry including nail surgery and routine chiropody.

 

Denzil continues to develop his skills, regularly attending seminars and networking with his peers both locally and nationally.

Lisa Fowler
Sports Massage Therapist

 

Lisa graduated from the University of Hertfordshire and completed further training in Sports Massage Therapy at London’s prestigious Premier Training International. Lisa has been running her own sports massage and injury rehabilitation business for 2 years and works at various clubs and gyms across Hertfordshire.

She has gained valuable experience working with Rugby players at Harpendon’s Old Albion Rugby club, and has developed her massage skills as well as her physical strength in dealing with their sports injuries!

Lisa has much experience treating a wide range of individuals ranging from athletes recovering from injury to office workers suffering from stress and back problems.






Brian Swanton
Sports Massage Therapist


Brian Swanton

Brian trained at St.Marys University, Twickenham in sports & remedial massage, with further specialization in sports injuries and sports therapy. He is an experienced therapist having worked with various elite athletes at international level.

 

Brian was a Great Britain champion in Irish dance and held a World ranking of No.3. He turned professional in 1996 performing with Riverdance - The Show.

 

He has worked in dance and theatre touring companies as a sports massage therapist and in sports injury clinics in London since 2002.



Giuseppe Cappello
Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist LSSM (DIP._ M.SMA, ISRM

 

Giuseppe Cappello Giuseppe graduated from Central University Italy in 1998 as a sports Therapist.  Prior to training, Giuseppe spent 12 months working at the US Palermo Youth Football Academy as a Sport coach trainee.  He then moved to London in 2002 and went to study at the London School of Sports Massage to gain a Diploma in sports massage.

 Since then He has archived a strong base of experience in manor sports injuries with Rugby Players at Richmond Rugby Club, and football players at Fulham FC, in the meantime Giuseppe gained a Certificate in Management and Treatment of sports injury and pitch-side therapist.

He is currently working as a Fitness and Football coach for Fulham FC sports in the community at Prep. Schools, Teaching health & fitness principles and football skills to children 7 to 12 years old.

 

 



Shiatsu

Deborah Jones
BSS - Shiatsu Practitioner


Deborah JonesDeborah qualified in 2003 after completing three years training in Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the British School of Shiatsu-Do.

 

Her knowledge of intuitive bodywork is grounded in 18 years experience as a professional dancer which included performing with the Royal Ballet Company and her own long standing yoga practice. Deborah works with strong deep contact and integrates good breathing practice and postural awareness during treatment.

 

Her sessions typically involve joint mobilisation and effective stretching techniques which she explains clearly so you can maintain optimal health beyond the sessions.

Marion Rollings

Marion graduated from the University of Westminster with a BSc Hons in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in 2003.

 

After completing her degree she traveled to China to enhance her knowledge in a hospital in Chengdu for 2 months. She has also studied Shiatsu and Swedish massage and can prescribe Chinese Herbal Patent remedies.


Over the past 4 years she had extensive clinical experience working in an NHS based acupuncture clinic in South London called the Gateway, at a drug and alcohol project called The Crossing and privately. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and fully insured.


Marion is also one of the yoga teachers here at Seymours.

Sarae Pratt

SaraeSarae has been an active student of Pilates since 2003 and teaching groups and individualsfor 18 months.

 

Following 2 serious back injuries, Pilates helped rebuild Sarae's core strength and reduce her lower back discomfort as well as inspiring her to share these benefits with others as an instructor.

 

Sarae was one of the first London based teachers to qualify to Level 3 Advanced Matwork Instructor status in 2008. She helps clients work towards their personal goals, whether they are seeking to improve their posture and fitness, rehabilitate an injury oras a distraction from day to day stresses.

 

By adapting the standard matwork repertoire, Sarae leads creative, interesting sessions that balance strength and flexibility exercises with challenges in a fun and informal way. Sarae's clients should beprepared to work hard to see real resultsyet enjoy the experience along the way.

TUBATuba is Peak Pilates® Trained and Certified Level 2 Pilates Instructor qualified to teach Classical Pilates on the Mat, Reformer and Cadillac for Introductory/Beginner/Intermediate and Advanced levels in an effectiveflowing workout as group and private sessions. She currently provide pilates instruction in various fitness clubs as well as teaching one to one classes.

 

Prior becoming an instructor she practiced ballet and yoga for many years. Although her first degree is in Costume and Make Up for Performing Arts, she is fascinated with the human body and its capabilities as well as seeing the wonders Pilates has done for her, especially for her back, which made her want to study further to become a Pilates Instructor.

 

As an instructor she would like to inspire people to achieve their goals whether their aim is simply obtaining a healthier lifestyle, overcoming injuries or simply tone, gain strength, stamina and flexibility.

 

As each student’s goals and level differ from each other, Tuba believes it is very important to understand each clients compensations and address their individual needs, by tailoring a program according their level as well as their physical capability.
